The Aden Sisters aren't bothered by the metals' recent action. They continue to "hold" but will wait to "add". Edelson sees this action as more favorable for a nice rally into late summer/Fall to a higher level than he originally anticipated.

Yes, pkf, since 1996 or thereabouts. All my puts are in the money. This will be fun picking long spots now....

Gold still in a bearish trend. Price for both ST and MT have entered oversold condition and could accelerate down. Be careful if you are long.

Short term Bullish option...

Back in Primero. Stop at the days lows. Barring a big gap down open on Monday, this should be ok. A bit risky but I think we'll bounce.

Back in FNV. Stops at $49. These are basically crash trades and nothing more unless we rally hard on Monday.

And B2Gold. Last one.
So between that and my short NQ, you can tell what I'm thinking for Monday. The Vix is also at ridiculously low levels but I'd rather add to my NQ short than play with HUV or HVU.
Cameco also dropped and then has bounced back. It's looking more and more like a tradable bottom but I won't add to that position today because I'm a bit worried that it may get caught in a broad equities down draft early next week.

Just to explain my rationale for taking those three gold mining positions in case anyone is curious. Here's the close on GDX. Big volume and big price movement into close. These stocks are all way oversold short term and so is gold - possibly due for a cycle low. Basically on the 5 minute chart we have an upward trend, so it's not a rule break for me (I won't trade it otherwise), but that means I have to also base my stop loss off the 5 minute chart, which is why I chose the LOD for my stop. Anyway, with this kind of money pouring in, and stops nearby, I figure it's worth the risk.
