Thought I'd start a thread even though I really have nothing to say. Markets are boring and the British Open is on.

I saw lots of excitement in the blogoshpere yesterday regarding GDX and metals, not usually a good sign in the short term. At least some are jumping back off the train already, after just buying their ticket yesterday. Nothing to do in the markets so I'm heading out to enjoy the day.

Yep, seems like BBT hopped back off and is tentative. I just don't see how anyone who is scared of these tiny wiggles will profit from any upcoming gold bull.

They will not; the pre-occupation with "today" will surely result in plenty of whipsaws and finally, when the euphoric stage takes hold, "they" will become convinced the only way to play this game is by buying and letting things run.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IJeemTQ7VkShare the video but appreciate that most westerners have an attention span of a few minutes at most. For those, start them around 35 minutes in.
